The Honourable Chairman Gbako Local Government, Lemu Niger State

Hon. Hussaini Aliyu Lemu, in his opening remark congratulates the people of Gbako for a successful celebration of Eid ul- Fitr.


 In his remark, the Hon. Chairman urged all the traditional leaders, security chiefs, youths to be law abiding citizens and continue to maintain peace and harmony.


He however stress the need of maintaining the rules and regulations as stated by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

 The rules involves social distancing, wearing of face mask, washing hand with clean water and sanitizer to help contain the spread of COVID 19.

The Etsuyankpa of Lemu, Alh. Ibrahim Abubakar pleadge to work in tandem with the chairman directive as part of measures to end this pandemic. 

In his key note however,  urged the youth to desist from drug abuse as the Eid ul Fitr celebration continue.

8th January is declared as work free day

The Hon Vice Chairman of Gbako Local Government Barrister Barnabas Musa Baba In consultation with Labour and other Trade Unions at the Local Government,  Has declared Monday 8th of February as work free day for the entire staff of the Local Government in Memory of late Hajiya Fatima Aliyu Lemu, Mother of Hon chairman, Alhaji Hussein Aliyu Lemu DANKIMIYAN NUPE (AMALI) Who died on Saturday 6th of February After a brief Illness.  Information Officer Gbako Local Government, with Hassan Bawa and Aliyu Mohammed Lemu.
